TSF enables you to make a big impact in your community. We are 100% reliant on donations and every amount makes a difference. Because every pound can determine whether or not a child gets to participate in an arts or a sports programme, and we have minimal administration costs, it all makes a difference:
- £15 a month allows a child to join and perform in Glee Club.
- £50 provides an IT homework club at school – this club is over subscribed since there is limited access to computers or internet at home.
- £250 underwrites an orchestral module for 50 children who have never before played or performed in a group.
- £300 pays for a term’s sports programme for 16 children who otherwise have no access to sports training outside of school.
- £1000 allows TSF to fund five additional programmes, reaching hundreds of deserving pupils.
- £5500 funds a three year drama programme reaching hundreds who benefit from increased self-esteem.
- Larger amounts can go towards providing a bursary for a child – the start of a new educational opportunity for those we can really help
The list of TSF programmes has greatly expanded over the past decade. And with economic challenges of the times TSF has even more demand for outreach, funding and volunteers. In order to meet current commitments as well as longer term goals, TSF needs to double donations from current levels. This is indeed ambitious, but we are dedicated to supporting children in our local neighbourhoods. Please consider the many ways your support can make an immediate impact.
